What we do - and what you get.

Every engagement is scoped to your organisation's actual situation. Scroll through the service areas below to see what a typical project looks like and what you'll receive.

01 Narrative Clarity

Ground your impact claims in evidence.

Before anyone challenges them.

Environmental organisations often make impact claims they can't yet defend. We audit what you're claiming, build a Theory of Change as a testable hypothesis chain, and produce a Narrative Clarity Framework - the single source of truth for your strategy, communications, and fundraising.

What you receive

  • RAG audit - every impact claim rated defensible, unverified, or indefensible
  • Theory of Change - each assumption mapped to a test, a dataset, and a timeframe
  • Data audit - every variable you generate, and which ones evidence impact
  • Evidence roadmap - what your next phase tests and over what timeframe
  • Narrative Clarity Framework - formatted for grant writers and funder conversations
02 MEL Framework Design

Build the monitoring infrastructure your programme actually needs.

Not bolted on after the fact.

Most organisations bolt monitoring onto programmes after the fact - then scramble at reporting time. We design MEL frameworks from the ground up, aligned to your theory of change, funder requirements, and the real capacity of your team. The result is a system that generates useful data for internal decision-making, not just compliance.

What you receive

  • Monitoring framework - indicators tracked per component, site, or deployment
  • Evaluation approach - outcomes assessed against baselines and targets
  • Learning loops - how field data feeds back into programme adaptation
  • Reporting wireframes - what leadership, funders, and field teams each see
  • MEL Framework document - ready to hand to funders as credible evidence
03 Data Systems & Dashboards

The infrastructure to turn data into decisions.

That your team can actually maintain.

Data exists but it's not reaching decision-makers. We audit your systems, design what you need - scaled to your team and budget - and either build it directly (Excel, Power BI, R, Python) or produce a technical requirements brief that lets you commission the right partner with confidence. We leave behind something your team can maintain without us.

What you receive

  • Systems audit - what you have, what it can do, where the gaps are
  • Decision-support tools - dashboards and reporting structures built for your audience
  • Technical requirements brief - if a build is needed, a procurement-ready specification
  • Handover documentation - so internal staff can maintain what's been built
04 Impact Communication

Tell the story of your work compellingly - and accurately.

Without overstating what the evidence bears.

Good work doesn't sell itself. We design impact frameworks, build clear reporting and visualisation, and translate complex environmental data into narratives that resonate with funders, government, or your board. This isn't data visualisation for its own sake - it's strategic communication backed by rigorous analysis.

What you receive

  • Impact framework - what you claim, what you can evidence, how the gap closes
  • Funder-ready reporting - narrative and visual outputs for specific audiences
  • Data visualisation - dashboards and reports that communicate rather than just display
05 Programme Strategy & Scaling

When a strong programme is stuck at the wrong scale.

Not reaching enough users. Not embedded in policy.

Some programmes have strong implementation but weak strategy - they're delivering well at small scale but can't articulate why they should be bigger, who needs to champion them, or how they embed into regulation or institutional practice. We handle the strategic layer: stakeholder mapping, partnership development, and the evidence-based advocacy needed to move from voluntary uptake to systemic change.

What you receive

  • Stakeholder and landscape analysis - who matters and where the leverage is
  • Programme strategy - a coherent growth pathway with a clear theory behind each decision
  • Partnership and advocacy support - from scoping to active stakeholder engagement

How we work

Project engagements

Typically 4–10 weeks. A defined scope, a specific deliverable, a clear end point. Most Narrative Clarity and MEL design work falls here. We scope Phase 1 precisely; subsequent phases are defined on completion of the first.

Strategic partnerships

6–12 month arrangements for organisations that need ongoing data strategy, monitoring oversight, or programme development support. Structured as a retainer with defined monthly scope.

Who we work with

NGOs, government agencies, environmental startups, and corporate sustainability teams - across marine, terrestrial, biodiversity, and sustainability. We bring in specialist partners where specific domain expertise is needed.

Not sure which service fits?

Most projects start with a conversation about the problem, not a service menu. Book a call and we'll figure out together what's stuck and what would actually help.
